Better Living is seeking a Culinary Director to lead dining operations across our senior living communities. This role focuses on delivering a restaurant-style dining experience, supporting resident independence, and driving occupancy growth through hospitality excellence.

The Culinary Director will oversee menu development, food safety compliance, budgeting, team leadership, and resident engagement, while aligning with Better Living’s Resident-Led Initiative and memory care programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary leadership experience (senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or restaurant preferred).
• Experience managing kitchen staff and food budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead dining operations, menu development, and food safety.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and ServSafe requirements.
• Manage inventory and food costs, and monitor budgets.
• Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff; foster heart-first leadership.
• Support occupancy growth through hospitality excellence and resident engagement.
