Job summary

Prince Waikiki, a premier hotel on Oahu, seeks a Cook IV (Band 1H) to maintain, prepare, and control food quality across restaurant stations. The role requires knowledge of line cooking, strong sanitation standards, and the ability to read and scale recipes.

Responsibilities include proper storage, portion control, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced kitchen. Prior experience in hotel dining and math skills are needed for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: high school diploma. Cul�nary program training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years as a Cook IV or entry level Cook in a hotel setting; fast-paced line experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all foods per standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality for guests.
• Inspect storage and portion control; safeguard high-cost items.
• Maintain clean refrigeration, storage and working areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure equipment is clean and working.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items; read recipes and measure ingredients.
• Knowledge of line cooking and sanitation standards; basic math for recipes.
