Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Cook 2 who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The candidate will provide exceptional knowledge of the Resort and uphold the Golden Rule in every interaction, preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Requirements include high school education, at least 2 years of culinary experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High school education
• Minimum 2 years culinary or related work experience
• Advance culinary knowledge expected
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Weekend availability required
• Hawaii TB clearance required by Hawaii health department

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards
• Set up and maintain mis en place for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and maintain safe sanitary conditions
• Lead by example and delegate tasks to cooks as needed
• Produce daily specials and cost accordingly
• Assist with ordering product and control food cost and waste
• Ensure proper timing/pace during service from station to meet Four Seasons standards
