Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai in Hawaii is seeking a Sushi Cook 4 with a passion for excellence to join our culinary team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner items to guest orders, following recipe cards and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen environment.

Earn a $1,000 gross sign-on bonus after completing 90 days and probationary review. The role requires working a 40‑hour, five‑day schedule and the ability to perform multiple kitchen stations.

Qualifications

• High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Basic culinary knowledge is expected for this position. Working knowledge is generally learned on‑the‑job
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

Responsibilities

• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Forty hours over a five-day period; scheduled days and times may vary based on need. May be required to work a varying schedule and OT
• Must follow the golden rule to support the kitchen in a variety of assigned roles.
• Product - Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs.
• Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
