Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food prep, cooking methods and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain required food safety certification.
• Strong math/counting abilities.
• Clear written and verbal interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely use knives and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and other methods as needed.
• Garnish and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food safely and maintain sanitation in the area.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets.
