Job summary

Eventide Care Center in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to work as needed, (PRN). Includes weekend and holidays as needed.

The Culinary Assistant / Server will provide meal service to residents under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Maintains sanitation of dishes, tables, and utensils and follows safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items to ensure proper preparation and labeling.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
