Job summary

Eventide Care Center in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server / Dishwasher to work full time 8a-4:30p. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The role will primarily handle dishwashing and meal service for residents, ensuring sanitary conditions and timely coordination with Nutrition and Culinary Services staff. The ideal candidate has limited experience in food service, with competitive starting pay between $16 and $17.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director/Coordinator.
• Monitors daily menu items to verify items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet serving times.
• Operates dish machine per directions; pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and stores items properly.
