Job summary

Eventide Jamestown Care Center in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server / Dishwasher for a full-time 8a-430p shift. The role includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The Culinary Assistant / Server / Dishwasher will be the primary dishwasher, provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services

Qualifications

• Must be available for full-time schedule 8:00am–4:30pm.
• Sanitation and food handling standards proficiency preferred.
• Experience in a care center or dining service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers.
• Operates dish machine and pre-soaks/sorts dishes as directed.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items to ensure all items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers according to food handling standards.
• Organizes work schedule to meet serving times.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items properly.
