Job summary

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, ND is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant/Server to provide meal service to residents under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner.

You will follow proper food handling standards, assist in receiving vendor deliveries, and support the Nutrition and Culinary Services team. Shifts are 5:30am-2:00pm or 6:00am-2:30pm with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers.
• Operates equipment in a safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director.
• Monitors daily menu items to ensure items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers according to food handling standards.
• Plans work schedule to meet serving times.
• Operates dish machine and manages dish/utensil prep.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items.
