Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Culinary Assistant to support the dining room, kitchen, and dish areas under the Culinary Coordinator. You’ll help provide a high-quality dining experience for residents while upholding cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll set up and serve meals, maintain sanitation, wear PPE, and assist with events. This role values teamwork, reliability, and compassionate service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school student 14+ working toward a diploma.
• Good communication, organization, and listening skills.
• Calm, friendly demeanor with teamwork.
• Willing to work independently and with supervision.
• Experience in elderly care or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the dining room for meals and serve residents.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene, including PPE and regulatory rules.
• Assist with staff meetings, events, and activities as needed.
• Complete incident reports and uphold confidentiality as required.
