Job summary

College of Southern Nevada – North Las Vegas Cheyenne Campus is seeking a College Work Study Student for Culinary Arts for Fall 2026. The role supports Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts with general kitchen tasks and lab support. Up to 20 hours per week; permission to work part-time.

Qualifications

• Employees must obtain and maintain a Southern Nevada Health Department – Food Handler’s Safety Training card.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand and walk throughout shift.
• Able to work with potential allergens including nuts, fish/shellfish, eggs, milk, wheat and chemicals.
• Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn; punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• General clean-up of kitchen after students are done for the day.
• Restocking food and supplies.
• Sorting and folding linen.
• Assisting dishwashers in restaurant lab.
