College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time College Work Study Student for Campus Life at West Charleston for Fall 2026. The role supports event setup, promotional materials, and front-desk customer service within the Student Union area.

Ideal candidates are friendly, punctual, and able to handle multiple tasks. Familiarity with Canva and Canva-based flyers is a plus; 20 hours per week maximum; hourly $14.00.

Qualifications

• Must have completed FAFSA and accepted Student Employment Award in Financial Aid Package.
• Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn.
• Good understanding of diverse multicultural environments.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate well.
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to complete assigned projects on your own.
• Work well in a team with staff and co-workers.
• Knowledge of CSN basic need services and campus departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors.
• Assist Administrative Assistant/Coordinator with execution, setup, and cleanup of Charleston Campus Life events.
• Help maintain organization and cleanliness of designated spaces (office, pantry, fridge, storage).
• Assist with inventory of donations and purchases.
• Create promotional materials for Campus Life events.
• Utilize social media to market events and promotions.
• Update designated bulletin board.
