The adjunct faculty member will design lessons, provide timely feedback, and collaborate with staff. Classes may meet days, nights, or weekends; office hours are required.

Qualifications

• Sufficient technology skills for information and instructional tech resources.
• Ability to design and implement lesson plans aligning objectives with outcomes.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse community college students.
• Effective communication orally, in writing, and electronically.
• Two years related occupational experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates acquisition of knowledge and skills.
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies.
• Deliver instruction supporting stated outcomes and assess learning with timely feedback.
• Possibly teach day, evening, or weekend classes as assigned.
• Hold at least 1 office hour per week for each course.
