Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

You'll gain experience serving new people as different families visit, but you get the comfort of seeing the same residents' faces each day! As a Culinary Aide/Server you will provides exceptional food service to residents, guests, and team members by preparing, servinglarge quantities of food and beverages in accordance with menus, dietary specifications, foodsafety/sanitary standards and organizational policies. Supports kitchen operations, residentdining experiences and hospitality initiatives. Availability to work every other weekend andholiday rotation is required.

Culinary Aide/Server Overview:

• Serves and prepares food in accordance with established portion control procedures that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and ensures work area and surroundings are clean and free of debris and clutter
• Assists in the kitchen in accordance with current applicable federal, state and localstandards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures toensure that quality food service is always provided
• Completes resident meal service on a timely basisMaintains appropriate levels of equipment, supplies, food, and beverages at eachassigned workstation
• Helps keep food storage areas clean and properly organized
• Washes dishes and disposes of food and waste in accordance with facility and stateguidelines, using equipment such as the dishwasher and disposal
• Provides excellent customer service within established guidelines across allcampuses
• Prepare made-to-order breakfasts, prepares and plates of desserts, and makesandwiches and salads
• Supports safety, sanitation, security, and maintenance programs that help ensurequality food service for residents, guests, and team members, and coordinates foodservice activities
• High School Graduate/GED preferred
• Experience providing quality customerservices: including needs assessment,meeting quality standards, andevaluation of customer services
• Ability to handle multipleresponsibilities: simultaneously, has theability to prioritize work and resolveemergencies as they may occur
• Ability to work independently whilemaintaining effective workingrelationships with residents, families,volunteers, and team member
