Job summary

Living Branches is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support our kitchen at Dock Woods. You will clean and sanitize dishes, maintain wash areas, and ensure the kitchen remains organized and safe. Weekend and holiday hours rotate.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of the dish machine and surrounding areas; wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Maintain knowledge of chemicals, sanitizers and detergents used in the area
• Record temperatures and sanitizer readings for wash cycles
• Return clean dishes and equipment to proper places after cycles
• Assist in kitchen cleanliness and organization, including floors and trash disposal

Gain kitchen experience without the late-night hours! As the Dishwasher, you'll ensure the kitchen, dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized and still be home in time to enjoy your evening.

Dishwasher Overview:

• Performs general cleaning of the dish machine and surrounding areas. This includes routinely cleaning all dishes, utensils, pots, pans and food preparation equipment
• Washes, rinses and sanitizes all dishes, pots, pans, inserts and utensils.
• Maintains and becomes knowledgeable of all chemicals, sanitizers and detergents used in this area.
• Maintains and records proper documentation of temperatures and sanitizer readings on wash and rinse cycles.
• Places clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cooking equipment in proper place after dishwasher cycle is complete.
• Empties and washes trash cans and carries refuse to dumpsters. Participates in the departmental cleaning and recycling program
• Sweeps and mops dish room/kitchen floor.
• Observes all safety regulations, community policies and rules.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Every other weekend and every other holiday hours required
• 16+ years of age
