Job summary

Living Branches is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to maintain clean, safe facilities in Souderton, PA. This role involves cleaning floors, handling waste, restocking supplies, and assisting with light maintenance.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather as needed. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with a willingness to collaborate with residents and staff to uphold a welcoming environment.

Our Environmental Services Assistants maintain the building in clean and orderly condition including waste disposal, program set-up and removal, furniture movement, and performing routine maintenance activities. Performs cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather as needed.

Environmental Services Assistant Overview:

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them in accordance with facility policy and department schedules. Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors as required.
• Picks up, delivers and stocks housekeeping and/ or nursing supplies from stockroom as required.
• Performs basic maintenance tasks, (Light bulb changing, drain unclogging, etc.), when needed and completes maintenance rounds on weekends and holidays.
• Maintains the facility grounds by sweeping and cleaning outdoor walkways, patios, parking areas and grounds as assigned. Assists with snow removal and landscaping activities as required.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, has ability to prioritize work within given deadlines and to address emergencies as they may occur
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather as needed
• High School Diploma/GED, required
• Valid Driver's License, required
