Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide for full-time day shifts at Stonebrooke Rehab. You will support meal prep, portioning, and service for residents, while helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

You will collaborate with culinary leaders to ensure a safe, nutritious, and delicious dining experience, handling routine tasks, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Commitment to customer service required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work alongside culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in meal prep and portions according to the menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
