American Senior Communities is hiring a Culinary Aide for full-time day shifts to help ensure safe, nutritious and delicious meals for residents. You will assist with meal prep, setup, service and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (may be earned while employed with ASC)
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
