Job summary

American Senior Communities' Clinton Gardens is seeking a Culinary Aide to support meal prep and service for our residents.

You will work with culinary leaders to prepare and portion meals, set up service areas, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining environment, ensuring safety and resident satisfaction. This role emphasizes teamwork and a strong customer service approach.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred, may be earned after hire.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace; assist with cleaning duties as needed.
