Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide for Park Terrace Village. You will help prepare meals, assist with service, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area to ensure safe, nutritious, and delicious meals for residents.

Responsibilities include coordinating with culinary leaders, portioning meals per diet requirements, and supporting staff in tray setup and dishwashing, while upholding cleanliness standards and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by state and federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet the needs of residents and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
