Job summary

American Senior Communities invites you to join as a Culinary Aide at Springhill Village. You will assist with meal prep and service to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals, while helping maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities include meal setup, portioning, assisting service staff, and ensuring sanitary conditions in a collaborative dining team setting.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet resident needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portions of meal items according to menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace, clean equipment as needed.
