Job summary

American Senior Communities is hiring a Culinary Aide at Maple Park Village to support safe, nutritious, and delicious meals for residents. You will assist with meal prep, portioning, and service while helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

As part of the dining team, you will collaborate with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs, set up service stations, and ensure clean up duties are completed.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred, unless required by state/federal agencies.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in meal prep and portioning according to menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace and equipment.
