Job summary

Northbridge Communities is seeking a Kitchen Crew member to rove the dining room and kitchen, supporting the Culinary Director to ensure dishes are prepared, served, and cleaned up for residents in our senior living community.

You will help with food prep, share the daily menu with residents, serve meals in a kind way, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area while adapting to changing roles and busy periods. Training provided, and benefits support growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience not required; training provided.
• Willing to adapt to changing roles.
• Maintain a positive attitude during busy times.
• Be patient and understanding with residents' requests.
• Keep dining area tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

• Prep food as directed by Culinary Director.
• Share daily menu with residents and ensure their happiness.
• Serve dishes to residents in a friendly manner.
• Clean pots, pans, and keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness and food safety.
• After meals, reset the Dining Room and present it neatly.

Kitchen Crew Job Summary

Your job as Kitchen Crew is an all-hands type of role. You’ll rove the dining room and kitchen, ensuring any area that needs assistance is helped. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure dishes are made, served, and cleaned up.

Responsibilities:

• Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area clean and orderly.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

Qualifications:

• It's cool if you've never worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
• Be open to changing roles on the fly.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
