Job summary

HHS, LLC is seeking friendly, team-oriented individuals to join the culinary team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, you will prepare fresh vegetables, salads, deli items, and ice displays for the cafeteria, while delivering excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include plating salads, entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
