Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join our hospital cafeteria culinary team in Toledo, Ohio. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, you will prep fresh vegetables, salads, deli items, and ice displays for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring meal satisfaction.

You will follow recipes, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to health and safety policies while supporting the department to operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists.
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline.
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
