American Senior Communities in Jasper, AL is hiring a full-time Culinary Aide to assist with preparing and serving safe, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, sanitary dining environment.

You will partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dietary needs, set up trays for service, collaborate with wait staff, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. ASC supports training, credentials, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
