Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a friendly Culinary Aide to assist with meal preparation, plating, and service for residents at Creekside Village. You will help maintain a sanitary kitchen and support culinary staff to deliver safe, nutritious meals.

Ideal candidates have a commitment to customer service and are willing to perform routine tasks in a collaborative senior-care environment. Full- and part-time shifts are available with benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling (preferred; can be earned on the job).
• Prior restaurant server experience (preferred).
• Commitment to customer service (required).
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team (required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
