Job summary

American Senior Communities Allisonville Meadows is hiring a Culinary Aide to support daily dining services for residents. You will assist with meal preparation, portion control, and service while ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role requires a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork with culinary leaders. State sanitation certifications are preferred and may be earned after joining ASC.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team and leaders.
• Preferred sanitation/safe food handling certification; can be earned while employed with ASC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary workplace.
