Canterbury Gardens Memory Care is seeking a personable Culinary Aide to support our dining service. This part‑time role includes presenting menus, assisting residents with selections, and maintaining a clean, sanitary dining area.

Qualifications

• Positive interpersonal skills required.

• Basic math skills expected.

• Must be drug free and pass drug screening on hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Assist residents in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu and specials.
• Bus dirty dishes and refill residents’ beverages as needed.
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic manner.
• Maintain grooming and clean uniform at all times; perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events and other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a personable and attentive Culinary Aide to join our Culinary Department at Canterbury Gardens Memory Care!

Earn between $17.13 and $17.50/hour, dependent on experience!

Who you are:

You enjoy providing outstanding customer service to residents. This role provides meal service, buses tables, and cleans kitchen and dining areas.

What you'll do:

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials
• Bus dirty dishes and refill residents’ beverages as needed
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
