You will coordinate with researchers, Enterprise Technology, and security offices to ensure compliant, secure research operations.

The role emphasizes developing end-to-end processes, monitoring program performance, and guiding stakeholders through audits and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional information security or regulatory compliance experience.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to develop others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain integrity of secure research operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational CUI compliance program development, including scoping and design of processes and tools.
• Plan and prioritize program work; monitor status, risks, and metrics.
• Conduct quality checks and improve processes based on feedback and results.
• Serve as liaison between researchers, Enterprise Technology, Information Security Office, and Sponsored Programs.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to align controls with CUI requirements.
• Document end-to-end processes and assess efficiency over time.
• Coordinate audits and investigations related to CUI compliance.
• Maintain program records and support readiness activities.
• Oversee forms/workflows in electronic systems (Kuali and others).
• Provide CUI SME guidance to researchers and administrators.
