Job summary

CUI Cable Services is looking for a Cable Technician in Nashville, TN to install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems for residential and commercial customers.

In this role, you will perform service upgrades, educate customers on services, and maintain tools, inventory, and documentation. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass screenings are required for a successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience installing cable, fiber or broadband systems.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools in varying conditions.
• Must be able to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Cable Technician, you’ll be the face of CUI in the field—delivering reliable, high-quality service directly to customers.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems
• Perform service upgrades, relocations, and audits at residential and commercial locations
• Ensure every installation meets quality, safety, and customer experience standards
• Educate customers on their services and equipment
• Manage and maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Accurately complete work orders, documentation, and time reporting

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work and want to grow in a fast-paced, high-opportunity environment.

• Previous cable, fiber, or broadband installation experience
• Comfortable working with tools, technology, and hands-on problem solving
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at heights (ladders up to 30 ft.)
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
