Job summary

CUI Cable Services is seeking a skilled Cable Technician in Bowling Green, KY to install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems for residential and commercial customers. You will be the face of the company in the field, delivering reliable, high-quality service and building trust with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous cable, fiber, or broadband installation experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at heights (ladders up to 30 ft.)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; pass background check, MVR and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems.
• Perform service upgrades, relocations, and audits at residential and commercial locations.
• Ensure every installation meets quality, safety, and customer experience standards.
• Educate customers on their services and equipment.
• Manage and maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Accurately complete work orders, documentation, and time reporting.

What You’ll Do

As a Cable Technician, you’ll be the face of CUI in the field—delivering reliable, high-quality service directly to customers.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems
• Perform service upgrades, relocations, and audits at residential and commercial locations
• Ensure every installation meets quality, safety, and customer experience standards
• Educate customers on their services and equipment
• Manage and maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory
