Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 month related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills.
• Good problem solving and common sense for instructions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and materials.
• Set stops or guides to required lengths as indicated.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Review product quality for consistency and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Assist other operators with setup and related tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow safety rules.
• Other duties as needed in the production environment.
