Job summary

Tusker is seeking an AV Install Technician in Eau Claire, WI to install audiovisual systems from project start through completion on-site. The technician reports to the AV General Manager and ensures safe, accurate delivery at customer sites.

Responsibilities include reading AV schematics, on-site rack fabrication, DSP/control-system changes, and troubleshooting. CTS certification is required; CTS-I is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Ability to read AV drawings and schematics.
• CTS AVIXA certification required; CTS-I certification preferred.
• English reading and writing proficiency required.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment safely and per project requirements.
• Read and interpret AV and construction schematics.
• In-house and onsite rack fabrication.
• Make minor DSP and control-system changes and uploads.
• Troubleshoot advanced AV systems and resolve issues.
• Provide daily project updates to management.
• Update post-project as-built documentation.
