Job summary

Tusker Construction Group in Green Bay, WI is seeking an AV Installation Technician to install commercial and residential audiovisual, security and IP/network-based systems. You will manage projects from start to finish and install equipment in conference rooms, auditoriums and other spaces.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read, write and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math including rates, ratios and percentages.
• Understanding of computers and how they integrate with AV/security systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope from start to finish with clear communication.
• Operate projection equipment for displaying multimedia in conference rooms/auditoriums.
• Connect low voltage wiring and terminate cables.
• Install wall plates, boxes and terminal boards.
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment to working condition.
• Make minor adjustments and coordinate major repairs as needed.
• Install and connect security cameras, projectors, microphones, amplifiers, and lighting controls.
• Measure distances and lay out work per design.
• Drill holes and mount framework; install brackets and fixtures.
• Pull wiring through conduit.
