Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking an Activity Therapist in Michigan. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to plan, organize, and implement expressive arts and activity-based therapies, assessing patient needs and goals to engage them in group programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Recreational Therapy is required or equivalent.
• CTRS certification or therapist registration is required.
• Minimum three months of psychiatric/medical/clinical experience.
• Knowledge of expressive arts therapies, recreation or occupational therapies, and psycho-educational interventions.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments within 72 hours of admission and plan DBT-I and psychoeducational programming.
• Document interactions and support interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Identify process improvements in coordination with unit goals.
