Job summary

Travoom in the United States is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to own the core technology strategy from day one. You will build the Rust-native platform, guide architecture, and oversee execution with a small, global engineering team, initially on deferred compensation until funding.

You will shape the long-term roadmap, lead development, and help secure the pre-funding phase with equity and a full-time paid position after funding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CTO with startup scale experience.
• Lead and mentor a young engineering team.
• Experience with Rust-native platforms and backend design.

Responsibilities

• Lead & build our Rust-native platform from the ground up.
• Mentor & develop a young engineering team working for deferred compensation.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of our architecture.
• Work hands-on with the codebase, setting up best practices.
• Coordinate development timelines for Phase 1 and Phase 2.
• Align with vision to build the world’s largest sports social platform.
