About CT Mechanical
CT Mechanical is a commercial mechanical contractor and a division of Comfort Temp Company, one of Florida’s most established mechanical contractors. We build large-scale plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial clients across the state.
Our Gainesville office is growing, and we need a Production Manager who leads from the front. You know how plumbing work actually gets done, you hold people accountable, and you keep production moving without someone checking on you.
The Role
This is a field leadership job. You’ll turn project plans into real production on the jobsite: managing manpower, backing up your superintendents and foremen, clearing obstacles, and making sure work gets done safely, on time, and done right.
It’s also a desk job. You’ll track production data, build staffing schedules, document field issues, and keep project managers and senior leadership informed. If you’re only comfortable in the field or only comfortable in the office, this isn’t the role for you. We need someone who’s good at both.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days, you will have:
Long term, success means production is predictable, your team is held accountable with respect, problems get raised early, and work moves the way it should.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
Manpower and Scheduling

We’ve been doing this a long time and we do it well. We take pride in the quality of our work and the stability we give our people. We’re also growing, so there’s real opportunity for someone who shows up, performs, and wants to build something over time.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to coast. It’s for someone who wants ownership, accountability, and the satisfaction of watching a team and a market run the right way.
