CT Mechanical in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead large commercial and industrial plumbing projects. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, coordinate with PMs, and ensure safety and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of plumbing experience in large commercial or industrial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Journeyman license or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all plumbing project activities from start to finish, underground through top-out.
• Lead a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Plan and schedule work to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specs; layout work in the field.
• Install and oversee domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping systems.
• Install pipes, fixtures, and equipment for proper drainage and system performance.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, general contractor, and other trades to stay on schedule.
• Track manpower, materials, and daily progress; report to the Project Manager.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings throughout the project.
• Ensure systems are tested, inspected, and in good condition at project completion.
• Follow health and safety regulations and enforce safe practices on site.
• Schedule and attend inspections to ensure local code compliance.

Job Summary:

In this role, you’ll lead plumbing installation on large commercial and industrial new construction projects across the Tampa Bay area, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality and safety. Requirements:

• 7–10 years of plumbing experience, with a focus on large commercial or industrial new construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Journeyman’s license or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Strong physical fitness and hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional working relationships with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel to job sites throughout the Tampa Bay area.
