Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Strong knowledge of safety precautions associated with HVAC work.
• Permits and licenses to repair, maintain, and operate refrigeration and HVAC systems (EPA Certified).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work duties.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Service and install commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform control wiring and start-up procedures.
• Inspect and adjust new equipment operations to ensure reliable indoor air comfort.
• Handle operation, reclaim, and charging of refrigerants.
• Solder and braze piping and install PVC piping for condensation.
• Maintain inventory and supplies of air conditioning and refrigeration truck stock.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to repair HVAC equipment.
