Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardio Thoracic ICU/Cardiovascular ICU at the New Brunswick campus. Night shift, 36 hours per week, 7p–7:30a, with some weekends.

Required ASN or Nursing Diploma, BLS/ACLS, and NJ RN license; 1 year CCU or 2 years Telemetry/Step Down experience preferred; BSN desired within 5 years of hire. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential for patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• 1 year RN experience in Critical Care or 2 years Telemetry/Step Down required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficient computer skills are needed for documentation and orders.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire.
• Active certifications: BLS and ACLS; NJ RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and ethical standards.
• Maintain safety and implement evidence-based care with team coordination.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with other care providers to address patient needs.
