Job summary

Northwell Career Site in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a Professional Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients in accordance with Southside Hospital Standards of Care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• 1 yr CTICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting and organizing data using all resources.
• Plan care by identifying needs, prioritizing outcomes and involving patient/family.
• Implement care, adjust procedures to meet individual needs and administer treatments.
• Evaluate progress and adjust nursing actions as needed.
• Document admissions, care plans, progress notes and discharges clearly and legally.
• Demonstrate professional implications including policy reviews and team participation.
