Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current NY RN license; BSN within five years of hire if not yet obtained.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews, reviews charts, assesses GI, CV, respiratory, renal and neurological status.
• Assesses pain and psychosocial health; educates patients and families.
• Develops care plans with measurable goals and coordinates supplies, meds and treatments.
• Documents care, communicates with physicians, ensures safety and discharge planning.
• Provides emotional support and maintains calm environment; leads coordination of patient care.
