UPMC Southwestern PA invites board-certified or board-eligible intensivists to join a one-year, non-ACGME fellowship in cardiothoracic critical care. Trainees gain hands-on experience in a high-volume CTICU, managing post-cardiotomy patients, ECMO, and advanced circulatory support.

Fellows work daytime rounds and night shifts, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop leadership skills to lead complex cardiothoracic cases. Note: J-1 sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• Board-certified or board-eligible intensivist in good standing
• Interest in cardiothoracic critical care and leadership
• Willingness to participate in a high-acuity CTICU

Mansioni

• Be immersed in high-volume CTICU rounding and patient management
• Nighttime CTICU care including ECMO, transfers, and emergencies
• Collaborate with ECMO and cardiogenic shock teams; supervise residents and fellows
