Job summary

Indianapolis Public Schools in Indiana is seeking a Career & Technical Education Specialist to support educators and students across the Career Academy. You will assist with student accommodations, presence in classrooms for large units/projects, and help with data collection and tracking.

Under guidance from the Career Academy Coordinator, you will help plan large events, organize resources, and perform ad hoc duties to support district CTE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma.
• Education-related or event planning experience preferred.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred.
• Must demonstrate an ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other professional staff members.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with large, collaborative projects within CTE
• Monitor/assist with use of technology/materials in the classroom.
• Assist Career Academy Coordinator with large projects/events
• Assist educators with large projects where additional supervision/assistance would benefit students
• Help with data collection/tracking in regard to student credentials
• Assist with proctoring as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Career Academy Coordinator and district CTE team.
