Job summary

Wallenpaupack Area School District is seeking an innovative Administrator of Career & Technical Education to provide leadership for its CTE programs and to shape high-quality career pathways for students.

You will work with district administrators, educators, students, families, employers, postsecondary institutions, workforce development organizations, and community partners to ensure CTE programming remains responsive to student interests and the evolving needs of the regional workforce.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Pennsylvania administrative certification or eligibility.
• Valid Pennsylvania instructional or Career and Technical Education certification.
• Successful experience in education, CTE, career development, or workforce development.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Successful completion of all required Pennsylvania background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Wallenpaupack Area School District CTE programs.
• Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve CTE programs to align with student interests and workforce needs.
• Monitor enrollment, participation, program effectiveness, completion, and placement data.
• Collaborate with principals, teachers, counselors, administrators, students, families, and partners to expand access to career pathways.
• Support recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and professional development of CTE instructional staff.
• Ensure CTE programs comply with PDE requirements and safety practices.
• Coordinate advisory committees and maintain relationships with business and industry partners.
• Work with postsecondary institutions and community partners to create meaningful pathways for students.
• Assist with CTE budgets, equipment purchases, facilities planning, and resources.
• Identify and pursue grants and funding opportunities for CTE.
