Job summary

The Education Program Consultant (CTE) will be an integral member of the Federal Programs Bureau, providing technical assistance, monitoring, and support to school districts, Area Education Agencies, and non‑public schools.

Responsibilities include leadership in programming, budget and finance, and accountability for CTE with emphasis on Engineering, Manufacturing, Architecture and Construction, or Transportation; assistance with grant applications and expenditure reviews; and guidance on CTE

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant education-related experience.
Desirable experience providing technical assistance to educators.
Experience interpreting state or federal教育 law.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and administration for CTE programming, budget and accountability.
Coordinate with K‑12 and community colleges for CTE development and improvement in Engineering, Manufacturing, Architecture & Construction, or Transportation.
Assist with grant applications, reviews, and expenditure approvals.
Guide local education agencies in implementing state CTE redesign statutes and Perkins alignment.
Participate in department and bureau meetings and other assigned work groups.
