Job summary

RFCUNY's Queensborough Community College seeks a part-time Career and Technical Education Program Coordinator for the Film and Media Production program to lead industry partnerships, organize internships, and track outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, CTE, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in film, television, or digital media with freelance/gig-based employment structures.
• Experience building or managing partnerships with external organizations or employers.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with data collection, tracking, and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to mentor students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and formalize industry partnerships for internships, mentorships, workshops and direct employment pathways.
• Coordinate internship placements and establish formal agreements for school-based and industry projects.
• Organize site visits, guest speaker programming, and industry seminars for student exposure.
• Serve as a mentorship bridge for FMP students, focusing on equity and access for underrepresented groups.
• Support the FMP First Year Seminar and equity interventions to improve retention and navigation.
• Assist in data collection and reporting for Perkins V indicators (1P1, 3P1) and outcomes tracking.
• Maintain records of partnerships, internships, and work-based learning activities for state/federal reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
