Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking a part-time Career and Technical Education Program Coordinator for the Film and Media Production program at Queensborough Community College. You will build industry partnerships, coordinate internships, and support work-based learning opportunities.

You will mentor diverse students, help launch the First Year Seminar, and assist with equity outreach, retention, and state/federal reporting requirements under Perkins V indicators such as 1P1 and 3P1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience or familiarity with the film, television, or digital media industry.
• Ability to build and manage partnerships with external organizations or employers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and formalize partnerships with media industry organizations to create internships and work-based learning.
• Coordinate internship placements and establish formal agreements for school- and industry-based projects.
• Support retention and mentorship for FMP students, with focus on equity and diverse backgrounds.
• Assist with collecting outcome data and compliance reporting for Perkins V indicators.
