Job summary

United Way of Northern Utah is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Weber Communities That Care (CTC) coalition. The role supports day-to-day operations, data management, volunteer engagement, and community outreach to advance CTC goals in Weber High School and surrounding communities.

The position reports to the Weber CTC Coordinator, offers part-time hours (20–29/wk), and a hybrid work model (in-person meetings and remote work).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred in public administration, public health, communications, human services, or social work.
• Experience in project coordination, volunteer coordination, or community outreach is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks for Coalition Workgroups, Committees, and Boards and prepare materials for meetings.
• Schedule events, send reminders, and disseminate minutes and attendance records.
• Enter and track data for grant reporting and outcomes tracking.
• Assist budget development and management with the Coordinator.
• Engage volunteers and stakeholders to advance coalition goals and activities.
• Travel within Weber County and regionally to support events and meetings; occasional out-of-state travel.
